Frequently asked questions

What businesses want to know before starting.

Do my customers need to install an app?
No. They scan your QR code with the normal camera app and the card opens in the browser. If they want, they can also add it to Apple or Google Wallet, or to their home screen.
Do I need special hardware?
No. A smartphone, tablet or computer with a camera is enough. An existing QR hand scanner works too, and you can always type the six-digit card code by hand.
What does it cost to start?
Nothing. The free plan stays free and includes one campaign, the QR scanner, the printable poster and wallet support for up to 30 customer cards. You pay once you need more customers, several campaigns, staff accounts or reports.
How long does setup take?
A few minutes once activated. Create the account – we get in touch and switch it on – then set the campaign (say: 10 stamps, one drink free), download the poster and put it up. That is it.
What data do you collect about my customers?
Almost none. A loyalty card works without a name, email or phone number - it is a random code and a stamp count.
What happens if a customer loses their phone?
The card lives at its own address. If it is in the wallet or on the home screen, it comes back on the new device once restored. Otherwise they create a new card in one click and you can credit the old stamps at the counter.
Can I use my own logo and colours?
Yes. The card, the poster and the wallet pass all carry your logo and colour. Your customers see your business, not our name.
Can several staff members give stamps?
Yes, from the Standard plan, with their own staff accounts and counter PIN. You can also see who gave which stamp.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel on the Billing page and keep the paid plan until the end of the current period. After that your account continues on the free plan and your cards and stamps stay intact. If you have more than 30 customer cards by then, they keep working, but new customers can only join on a paid plan.
Does it work without internet at the counter?
Stamping needs a connection, because the count updates on the customer's phone straight away. If the network drops briefly the card says so and catches up once it is back online.
